Pinterest is a social networking website that a lot of people are really beginning to get into. The site is getting bigger by the day and it’s not on Facebook’s or Twitter’s level, but it is definitely trying. It may be safe to say that Pinterest will not be giving them a run for their money anytime soon, but it could happen and this is a step in the right direction, just proving that Pinterest does have a very bright future.

Pinterest has recently joined the billionaires club and has recently been valued at $1.5 billion dollars. That a lot of money for a website that allows you to pin up pictures. This valuation comes in right after a Japanese e-commerce website invested $50 million dollars into the company. As of right now, Pinterest makes no money on their site, but you can be assured that investors are definitely going to push for the company to implement some e-commerce tools.

It will be interesting to see how Pinterest grows in the future. Undoubtedly they are still building up, but it’s highly unlikely the company will ever get as big as something like Twitter and Facebook. Either way, at least Pinterest has now joined the billionaire club and I am positive that they are not complaining.
