Counter Strike CS 1.6 Tips For New Players – Part 2
If you want to get better at Counter Strike 1.6, you should make sure that you read over the first part of this post. I have decided that I am going to dedicate some of my time to helping Counter Strike 1.6 newbs, but this could also be beneficial to veteran players that want to improve their game. Also, these tips could also be translated to Counter Strike Source. That being said, let’s get on with the tips.
Aiming is one thing that gives a lot of people trouble in Counter Strike 1.6. So, if you want to improve your aiming, I am going to give you the most valuable bit of advice I could ever give you: relax. If you want to become better at aiming, you have to learn to relax and focus on the center of the screen. Lean back comfortably in your chair and do not be so tense. You should try to avoid leaning towards the computer screen and gritting your teeth. Just relax and you will be able to get aiming down in no time.
If you find yourself doing poorly at Counter Strike 1.6, you should realize that you are going to have good days and you are going to have bad days. Some days you will get absolutely dominated and there is nothing you can do to stop it. The longer you play, it seems like the worse you will become. That is when you need to hang it up for a little bit, get some fresh air and tackle Counter Strike at another point in time.
Lastly, if you want to be good at any multiplayer game, you have to learn the maps. This is without a doubt the most important piece of advice that I could possibly give you. It does not matter how good you are at aiming, if you don’t know the maps, you are going to get wrecked. Familiarize yourself with the maps and you will be amazed at how good you can become.
